Here are the primary pathways:

1. Permanent Residency for Non-Jews

• Who qualifies?

  • Non-Jewish spouses of Israeli citizens or permanent residents.

  • Children of Israeli residents born abroad under certain circumstances.

  • Non-Israeli spouses of Israeli citizens or residents (married or in recognized common-law partnerships).

  • Family members, such as children or dependent parents, may also qualify under specific family reunification laws.

• Process:

  • Residency permits often require a gradual process, including proving the authenticity of relationships or the validity of claims.

2. Aliyah under the Law of Return

   • Who qualifies?

     • Individuals with at least one Jewish parent or grandparent, or converts to Judaism recognized by Israeli authorities.

3. Work Visas (Non-Citizens)

• Who qualifies?

  • Foreign workers with a job offer from an Israeli employer willing to sponsor a visa.

  • Skilled workers in high-demand fields, such as tech, construction, agriculture, or caregiving.

• Visa Types:

  • B/1 Work Visa: For general work in Israel; must be employer-sponsored.

  • Hi-Tech Visa: For skilled professionals in tech under the innovation program.
